![]() Abilities like Venomous Gale and Shadow Strike are long lasting damage over time abilities which can easily use up 2 charges per cast, with just minimal damage getting blocked. Infused Raindrops is also not very effective against damage over time which deals just high enough damage to proc it, as one such spell can proc Raindrop multiple times throughout its duration, wasting charges on rather low damage ticks, as compared to burst damage.Since it ignores damage instances below 75, it is not effective against most damage over time abilities, like the ones from Viper, Warlock, Jakiro and Huskar. This also applies to Maelstrom's and its upgrade's Chain Lightning. It is also good against lower nukes, like Storm Spirit's abilities, Arc Lightning and Arcane Bolt, although these abilities are in return able to burn through raindrops faster than the heavy nukes.Works well against heroes who harass early lanes with magical damage, especially against those with stronger nukes and a high mana cost, like Queen of Pain, Leshrac, Lich, Visage and Lina.Offensive heroes with low health who struggle against magical damage.Neither consumes charges nor blocks any damage while on cooldown. However, if a damage instance is greater than the capacity of all barriers individually, the damage gets blocked as if the barriers were one barrier with combined capacity. If multiple sources of barriers are active on a unit, all of them lose capacity from the same absorbed damage instance.Does not stack with other magical damage barriers.Ignores every form of damage amplification, including spell damage amplification.Upon triggering, blocks up to 120 magical damage.Only triggers on magical damage equal or greater than 75 ( before reductions) coming from abilities and attacks, excluding self-inflicted damage and damage dealt by allies. ![]() Has a lower priority than Mana Shield, meaning Mana Shield first reduces damage before Infused Raindrop blocks it.Dispersion and Blade Mail), meaning it first blocks damage before it. Has a higher priority than damage return effects (e.g.Aphotic Shield or Refraction), Infused Raindrops negates the damage while the others do not. When combined with other damage negating effects (e.g.Infused Raindrops has the highest priority in the group of damage negating abilities, blocking damage before any of them do.
